Xiaomi shared an impressive milestone today – 240 million Redmi Note units were sold since the inauguration of the lineup. The announcement comes eight months after Xiaomi reached the 200 million mark.
This means Xiaomi sold 5 million Redmi Note phones per month, which equals two Redmi Note phones every second for eight straight months. And these were some properly challenging months with the pandemic and chip shortages and whatnot.
The Redmi Note 11 series is slowly making its way to the overseas markets, where Xiaomi has been having a bigger share of revenue in the past few quarters. The midrange series is always in high demand, and we will probably see the 300 million milestone before the end of the year.
