Britain has assured full support to Pakistan in enhancing bilateral relations in all areas of mutual interest.
The assurance was given by British High Commissioner Thomas Drew during his meeting with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi at Islamabad.
The two sides discussed bilateral and regional issues, including the 4th Review of Pakistan-UK Enhanced Strategic Dialogue, which was held in London in June 2019.
The Foreign Minister raised the issue of anti-Pakistan banners and unruly conduct of a certain group of spectators towards Pakistan cricket team and its players.
He specifically highlighted that use of sports venues for malicious propaganda is unacceptable.
The Foreign Minister said peace and stability in Afghanistan is a shared responsibility and Pakistan would continue to support all efforts aimed at bringing peace and stability to Afghanistan.
