President Dr Arif Alvi says Pakistan needs a large number of information technology experts to promote modern science and technology in the country.
Addressing the seventh international conference on Aerospace Science and Engineering in Islamabad today, he said a lot of information and data is being gathered by SUPARCO from the space and there is a need to utilize this information in an effective manner.
He said we are moving toward modern education and the country should be more developed in aerospace technology as the date collected from space cannot be analyzed without modern education.
The President said that over twenty four satellites have so far been launched by different countries for gathering information and data from the space.
He said that the world is also facing the issue of fake news at a large scale and only modern and updated technology can defeat this menace. He said that should not hesitate in adopting modern technology.
Vice Chancellor Institute of Space Technology Major General Retired Rehan Abdul Baqi also addressed the event.
