A meeting of National Security Committee (NSC) chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan will be held in Islamabad on Monday to discuss the latest situation in Afghanistan.
In a statement, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said Pakistan will present its stance on the current situation following consultations in the meeting.
He said an important meeting will be held with Afghan delegation in Foreign Office today, which is in Pakistan to move forward the peace process.
The Foreign Minister said he has also held a meeting with Prime Minister Imran Khan and discussed the regional situation.
He said the Prime Minister has given him approval to establish contacts with neighbouring countries of Afghanistan after Ashura so that a unified strategy could be evolved.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said India should act responsibly in the current situation.
