All Hajj applications, under the Government Hajj Scheme, have been approved.
This was announced in a statement of Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Chaudhry Salik Hussain.
He said all Hajj applications received from 18th of the last month till Tuesday have been accepted.
The Minister also announced to extend the date for submitting the Hajj applications till 10th of this month. He said a balloting will be held if applications exceed the government’s quota.
He said all the applications under the Sponsorship Scheme have also been approved without any balloting.
Chaudhry Salik Hussain further said overseas Pakistanis should deposit the sponsorship fee by 10th of this month.
The Hajj application can be submitted through online portal on the Ministry’s website.
The intending pilgrims are requested to download the Pak Hajj Mobile App for new instructions.
